9. Cookies, tracking and advertising

We use cookies (small identifiers stored by your browser so that we can recognize it) and similar technologies on our website. Some are necessary for the website to work, such as keeping your cart and your session. Others are used for analytics and advertising, as described below.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how our website is used. It sets cookies and sends information about your visit to Google, including the pages you view, the products you view or add to your cart, your purchases, your device and browser, your IP address and an identifier for your browser.

Advertising partners. We share browsing data with advertising partners so that they can measure our advertising and show you relevant ads on their platforms. Our advertising partners are:

  • Google (Google Ads)
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
  • Microsoft (Bing)
  • Pinterest
  • TikTok
  • Upfluence

The information shared with advertising partners includes the pages you visit, the products you view or add to your cart, your purchases and their value, your IP address, and identifiers from cookies set by those partners. We do not share the photos you upload with any analytics or advertising partner.

Advertising partners receive this data only after you have continued to use the website following our cookie notice, or have accepted it. They do not receive it if you have opted out, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.

Your choices. When you first visit our website, a notice lets you opt out of analytics and advertising, or choose which categories to allow. You can change your choice at any time using the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the footer of every page. Opting out stops new data being shared from your next page view. We also honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as an opt-out of advertising and analytics; if your browser sends it, you do not need to do anything else.

10. Your California privacy rights

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, sharing browsing data with advertising partners for targeted advertising counts as "sharing" personal information. If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • opt out of the sharing of your personal information, using the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the footer of every page or a Global Privacy Control browser signal
  • know what personal information we collect, use and share, as described in this policy
  • request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, as described in section 7
  • not be treated differently for exercising these rights.

In the 12 months before the date of this policy, we have shared the following categories of personal information with the advertising partners named in section 9: identifiers (cookie and device identifiers, IP address), internet activity (pages viewed, products viewed, purchases) and commercial information (order value). We do not sell personal information for money.

We do not knowingly share the personal information of anyone under 16 years of age for advertising.
